Jaracatiá

The Jaracatiá (Jacaratia spinosa) is a native tree of Brazil, found in various regions of the country, notably from the southern Bahia to Rio Grande do Sul, as well as the states of Pará and Maranhão. This tree, with its straight and thorny trunk, can reach heights of 8 to 20 meters. The fruit, ranging from a bright yellow to orange when ripe, is an elongated berry with milky juice and numerous seeds.

Jequitibá Branco

The Jequitibá-branco, a giant tree of the Atlantic Forest and a symbol of São Paulo, is at risk of extinction due to logging and habitat loss. Its impressive height of up to 60 meters and the medicinal use of its bark highlight its importance and the urgency of conservation efforts.

Palmeira Juçara

The Juçara palm tree is a native species of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, spanning from Rio Grande do Norte to Rio Grande do Sul, and extending to the northeast of Argentina and the southeast of Paraguay. Its fruits are essential to the diet of various species of birds and mammals, some of which are threatened with extinction.

Uvaia

The uvaia tree, native to the south and southeast of Brazil, is cultivated for its tasty fruits. Its name, of Tupi origin, means "sour fruit." With a height ranging from 4 to 10 meters and aromatic leaves, it blooms in the spring and produces succulent, yellowish drupes that are appreciated by birds in the summer.
